Sydenham Swimming Pool

During the summer season the swimming pool is unfortunately inundated by people coming in from other areas, where their municipal pools are either closed down, or not maintained as well as the Sydenham pool. Unfortunately the noise becomes unbearable for residents around the pool. Added to this some of the patrons consume alcohol, become even louder, and abusive toward residents. JMPD has been called many times, but this has proven to be ineffective. Please be aware that there is often broken glass in the grass and around the park, so wear decent shoes and be aware if you are walking your dogs in the park. Please help out by picking up any glass and litter and disposing of them in the bins around the park.
