The Sydenham Residents Association Johannesburg started in 2016, with Sandringham joining forces in 2018, to create a larger, more effective Residents association. The association has retained the acronym SRAJ, which now refers to Sydenham and Sandringham Residents Association Johannesburg as a a whole. The website was initiated and the plan is to build a community through the website. By using the website to connect the suburb we become a community and have a much stronger voice.

It is still a very new association which is facing many challenges in an area that has been somewhat neglected by the City of Johannesburg.
The SRAJ seeks to make Sydenham and Sandringham safe, sought-after and desirable suburbs underpinned by a cohesive community of caring and proud residents.

The SRAJ is working closely with the ward councilor, dominant security provider, Royal Johannesburg Developers, JMPD to address the key issues within Sydenham and Sandringham.

SRAJ AGM 2021
We will be announcing the SRAJ AGM 2021 date shortly. It will be held online on Zoom during June 2021.
This is only open to residents of Sydenham and Sandringham. Residents will be required to register online to receive the link to the Zoom meeting. This is to ensure that only residents of the SRAJ area attend the meeting (All personal information transmitted to SRAJ complies with the provision of the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013.)
